  • Beginning at age 40, women should begin getting mammograms every year

  • Women in their 20's should begin "self" exams to become familiar with their
breasts, which will help them identify changes later (see "videos" link for a short demo)

  • Women with breast implants should continue to have mammograms. It is
important however to let the facility performing the mammogram know that you have implants.
